Obesessive no. Opposed to his failure by any objective measure - most certainly. I don't use an Oyster as public transport is not accessible to most, like me, with severe mobility issues - another TfL/Khan failure. Constructive suggestions to to improve bus speeds, as least on the A4020 and feeder routes. Simple, remove the poorly planned and constructed cycle lanes which have removed 33-50% of carriageway capacity to cater for 3% (TfL measure) of journeys. Restore/ extend the dedicated bus lanes allowing buses to move unhindered and cycles to share those lanes. It's not rocket science. Khan- failed on transport, Shall we move on to house building, police recruitment, knife crime or soending disproportionate amounts of money on PR and image promotion? London has not had a mayor worthy of the title since the role was reintroduced in 2000. |
