Right so you’ve selected option one: a cycle lane on every road in London for the allocation of your 5%. Naturally this will allow me to install some great cycle lanes on many main roads around the capital like the A406 for example and the A40 but, and this is why I warned you to choose carefully, you have now eliminated a row of parking on one side of every road in London and dedicated that space to bikes. Well done Nigel! Incredible how much space is taken by private cars isn’t it? There really isn’t any to give without it being painful for you because you’ve taken so much more than your fair share. When you’re accustomed to privilege equality feels like oppression. Here endeth another lesson for you: choices made hastily from spite by bad losers will be repented at their leisure. What a fine job you’re doing for the London car lobby. They were all hoping you’d go for option 3. Can I please negotiate with you every day? |
