| Pleasing to read in the article on the front page that Mike Brown really, really wants the Piccadilly line to stop at Turnham Green. Fair enough that a full introduction of the service might require the signalling upgrade and that isn't funded at the moment so who knows when it is comming. But why not in the decade that it now looks like we will have to wait before getting this service doesn't TfL gradually expand the operating hours of the stop on a phased basis. It would make the full introduction easier and compensate the Chiswick area for the huge reduction in bus services we have seen. |
