| A reconfiguration of the District and Piccadilly lines is meant to be part of the plan for the Piccadilly line. The Ealing branch of the District lines would be closed and the trains moved to the other District line branches to provide a higher frequency service. The Piccadilly line would replace the District line service to Ealing Broadway and would stop at Turnham Green. That means the Piccadilly line trains would also go through Chiswick Park but it isn't known what the stopping patterns would be. A guess is the Piccadilly line service to Ealing Broadway would stop at Chiswick Park while services to Heathrow and Rayners Lane would run through as they do at the moment. |
