| Agreed for a full service but we are just talking about an extension before the rush hour peak when the service is not crowded. My observation is that trains are regularly held at Acton Town or proceed through TG at a snail's pace early in the morning presumably because of the limited dwell time at stations. This changes the cost benefit equation for a stop because even if there is some negative impact on the schedule it is mitigated by the fact that a significant proportion of trains were stationary anyway. The benefits remain the same including to non-TG users of the Piccadilly line who will see reduced crowding at rush hour as TG users bring their daily commute forward. |
