| They are anecdotal observations. If you had recorded the actual times of all the trains passing during the same period of time on a significant number of days for all those decades then they could be treated as data but you didn't so they are anecdotes. Human perception is notoriously unreliable, particularly if someone has already made their mind up what the answer is. I'm not stopping you speculating and making sweeping assumptions on little information, just pointing out when you do it. Which is a lot. Instead of this forum, you could try districtdavesforum.co.uk which is frequented by tube drivers and others who should know the signalling arrangements. |
