| I think what has got a few people upset is statements such as this from Richard Greenhough: "I have no interest in stirring up animosity towards one section of the community - unless it is a section that displays bigotry towards those who do not share its beliefs by preventing them attending schools paid for out of general taxation. " This seems to me to be pretty inflammatory and not what most people would call a reasonable argument. He admits that it is his intention to stir up animosity to those he regards as bigots - implicitly people who send their children to Church schools. If I was one I would certainly regard this as slanderous. |
