| Both our nearest neighbours have children at CCS - and they are archetypical professionals. So obviously anecdotally one’s perception can vary. Indeed, I gather there are the sons and daughters of professors, QCs, and a cabinet minister at the school. To indicate that there have been past oscillations in the performance of CCS, it’s worth having a look at the obituary of Dame Helen Metcalf: http://www.guardian.co.uk/obituaries/story/0,3604,1102086,00.html . At least from the latest A-level results (which have admittedly been rather scattered recently ) CCS could be on an upswing. |
