| "Why do you feel it is necessary to coerce people into schools that don't reflect their own beliefs?" I don't - I just don't see why I should have to pay for them. If a school wants to discriminate either for or against a section of society then the state should not fund it. If the discriminatory entrance policy was based on ethnicity rather than religion, would that be acceptable ? In most areas of our society we have laws that prevent discrimination on the grounds of race, religion or creed - but you seem to regard it as acceptable that state-funded schools are allowed to discriminate. |
