| Richard, I don't feel I insulted you. Your views and the way you expressed them are objectionable and unpleasant. It would be impossible to debate that matter without making this clear. I went as far to express surprise in you for voicing them. Your latest post is daft and illogical. The 'sectarian religious' aspects are exactly why the school was set up in the first place. It is over-subscribed by practising Catholics so why on earth should they deprive someone who buys into the ethos 100% of a place to accommodate those who don't? Your childhood school may have been able to do this but clearly it wasn't over-subscribed by Anglicans so it could do so. It would have been equally daft for it to admit Catholics if there was a sufficient number of Anglicans to fill the school. I suggest you read Bernadette's post which is a very honest and informative view of local education in the area. The fact that you can equate her and other perfectly decent people's decision on their children's education with racism is laughable and yet you have the cheek to accuse others of resorting to insults. You have completely lost your sense of proportion and your views are preposterous. |
