| I can't seem to find the application - I wonder if it has been withdrawn or worked its way through the system. I attended the first ever meeting about the Flower Market pre-Covid and I was really impressed with what they were aiming to do and am ever more impressed with what they have done, all, it seems, with volunteers and as a non-profit which just feels like such a virtuous cycle - especially with the work of Abundance London (I think) who added to the flowerbeds in the area! I remember thinking at the time that if we were to have a market every Sunday then Chiswick would become more and more of a destination place (Londoners waking up in the morning, wondering what to do with their day, and visiting Chiswick because there will be market of some sort going). Can someone tell me if the Flower Market runs the other 2 market days - the vintage and the cheese? I don't know much about the application for the street-food market and my initial question would be who pays for the clean up? Is it a part of the Flower Market not-for-profit model? Would just be interested to know a bit more. |
