| Liz, your solution sounds rather like the old medieval way determining whether or not a woman was a Witch. Placed on a ducking stool she was lowered into a pond if she drowned she was innocent but if she survived she was usually burnt at the stake. Sorry to say I live approximately 200 yards from the pop up middle eastern vendor you mention and the food odours are not pleasant, therefor a market of 60+ vendors would be horrid. Yes I do support our existing eateries, why should it be an uneven playing field if these vendors were paying a similar rent to our bricks and mortar eateries, then I'd not have any problem. |
