| I’ve discovered in the last five years that many of our local traders need saving from themselves. Like the ones who didn’t support the markets going down Devonshire Road and then begged for them to be put back there when they stopped. Duh! When you make a place a destination people come back. At other times! And they linger on the day moving between market and permanent businesses. Naturally some will use cafes and hopefully many will go to the boutiques and other non-hospitality businesses too. I wholeheartedly support another day of thousands of diverse people being attracted to Chiswick to discover its charms and its local independent businesses and I am enthusiastically encouraging everybody I know who feels the same to write in and say so too. |
