| TfL sent two representatives to the Forum last night. Bullet points; They were impressed by the very high volume of feedback to the drop ins. They were still analysing and taking on board this useful feedback. Lots of work still needs to be done by them before finalising their proposals. They have concerns that creating another lane may adversely affect the structure of the flyover and are awaiting a structural engineers report. They take on board the infamous U bend and are looking at ways to mitigate. (good luck with that!) My take; TfL realise the scheme has serious issues yet to be resolved and it may be that it won't be viable. It may have to be paired back simply to much clearer overhead signage. More to come from them towards the end of this year. |
