| I've maintained from the start that the extra sessions will be justified if they are well attended. I'm glad you finally agree. Although I suspect from your continued protests against my criticism of John Todd's demands that you also agree with my prediction that the sessions will be sparsely attended because you also do actually agree with my analysis that only a tiny fraction of the population of Chiswick is directly affected by the scheme. You would be better off spending your time going out with John to try to drum up some numbers instead of trying to convince me that TfL consultation sessions don't cost anything. Maybe put an advert on OneChiswick's Facebook. They love turning up to shout at and abuse public servants. As I said I do hope John can do a better job than you of glibly dismissing the need to justify demanding the costs of these extra sessions. It wouldn't become a Conservative Councillor to be so dismissive of considering how taxpayer money is usefully spent. |
