| That post is just full of disinformation. It is your usual false narrative that authorities are deliberately deceiving Chiswick people and dissembling their true motivations. I am sure that the decision was not taken on the basis of one year of collision data and I have absolutely no reason to believe that TfL's motivations are not exactly as they are articulated them - to improve road safety at a dangerous junction. Anybody who doubts that can ask at the drop-in sessions. I don't know what motivates people like you to attack the motives of people every time changes to road space are proposed (visceral aversion to change, paranoia, misplaced sense of superiority) but it certainly doesn't help create an impression that you have a sound argument against the substance of the scheme. I have two motivations for my contributions to the forum discussion on this scheme: 1. I am calling out the glib and self-congratulatory efforts of Councillors to spend more taxpayer and ratepayer money on consultation sessions which I expect to be quite sparsely attended given the reality of the limited direct impact this scheme will have on a small number of people 2. I have an aversion to men on this forum like you blithely and cynically spreading disinformation to stoke discontent so I will keep calling it out every time I see it |
