See this is it - once you strip away the conspiracy theories, the hysteria, the preening victimhood, there is little substance to the arguments against the proposals. Delivery vehicles cannot drive the wrong way along Chiswick Mall to get to the G&D anyway. It is a LTN with a contraflow cycle filter. The flooding argument is a red herring and I don't know who the OCPS is expecting to be stupid enough to fall for it. Why won't delivery vehicles just access the pub via Burlington Lane regardless of when the Thames is in flood? If anybody has reason to believe a delivery vehicle cannot turn in from Burlington Lane then that would be a good thing to raise during the consultation. The OCPS description of this turn suggests they haven't actually looked at the plans or understood them. I don't need to talk to businesses and residents to examine claims that are so obviously false for anybody who can read the proposals and study the plans. And you still you lie - I am not vehemently supportive of the road widening. I am examining the arguments of its opponents and finding them to be vacuous, misleading and untruthful. And I am experiencing from you and others the habitual response of people when their lack of substance is exposed. |
