| Yes thank you Jeremy, I think most regular posters are aware of that characteristic. I believe you are being too pessimistic on future demand patterns. Heathrow's growth has to be restricted and, while you are right about the population density increase, there are other trends that may off set this. I'd be very hopeful that confirmation of the Piccadilly line signalling upgrade is announced soon and there are other public transport improvements in the pipeline that will provide alternatives to motor transport. You yourself have pointed to this possibility on this forum if I recall correctly. As to whether I will get to the public events, I work so can't make the weekday events so this Saturday is my only option. I'll relay back what I am told and, in the event I don't make it, I know like minded people who will ask similar questions to me and I'll post any informative responses received. |
