| This would have been a far more sensible place to start the discussion on the changes from than the OCPS publication and the report on the front page. The viability of the turn is the crucial point and it will be interesting to see what TfL say about how they are creating the space for the four lanes. They have obviously thought about it because they are changing the layout of the junction and removing a parking space which suggest to me they have analysed the turn. I disagree with your contention that the road is more congested because of the LTN as we know there are fewer vehicles using the A316 northbound than prior to the LTN. But if it is then congestion = slow-moving traffic and reduced danger for the turn you mention. Annoying and more inconvenient yes. Dangerous? Convince me. Very sensible to use the consultation to register your concerns and solicit feedback. |
