At present, construction of a 9-storey car park on Brentford High Street is underway to provide over 500 spaces. Clearly LBH maths predict the population influx in Brentford will require parking as will those arriving to a new destination for leisure purposes. Currently LBH is looking at providing a mere 50 or so spaces in Chiswick in the car park by George IV. There are scattered other spaces around but there is no accounting for the total nor management of same by LBH in W4. Yet they can and do publicize 500 new parking spaces in an area with lower business rents and rates. The equation for a thriving, successful High Street is...? |
