What advises your morality is a good and interesting question. Well, I would start with mother and child. 99% of mothers would give up their lives for their child, if necessary. An instinctive morality. This is extended to fathers and to brothers and sisters although less vehemently and to the wider family. Then we have neighbours who instinctively want to help their neighbours. Then we have tribes with considerable internal loyalty - all the above more or less instinctive. It is how to extend this consideration for others nationwide and world wide. I think we are on the way. |
