So now I'm an offensive, nasty, rabid, deluded proselytiser. The only (mild) invective I've used has been in response to fairly unpleasant stuff written by Roland. What's with all the ad hominem attacks? Can't you address any of the points I make? To re-iterate; you are welcome to believe in whatever you like, but don't expect any special treatment because you are religious. Nonsense is nonsense, whatever label you paste onto it. If you were a flat-earther, conspiracy theorist, or believed in fairies, I'd regard your beliefs in the same way - as self-delusion. I'm not being nasty to you, I'm not calling you rude names (at least no ruder than I've been called). I am just telling you what I think of your beliefs. None of you have any qualms in telling me what you think of my worldview - you clearly think I am an inhuman monster, immoral, nasty evil, malicious etc. I make no claims about your character, apart from the obvious one of believing in something I regard as nonsense. |
