“In a mature society they should be looking at how to improve traffic flows.” I agree, but that does not mean completing the London ring roads that were abandoned decades ago. In fact Embankment with its cycle lane is now carrying a higher proportion of traffic through the City than before, so while the principle of improving flow is correct, it should include all travel modes and put emphasis on those that reduce pollution and emissions. |
