| But that’s what most people do. Why do you make these definitive pronouncements all the time? Unless you are omnipotent you can’t possibly know what everyone chooses as a travel option. It’s the few cycling zealots who make sweeping generalisations about their fellow residents. People like Paul Campbell probably do more to put others off cycling than encourage them. And, frankly, none of their arguments add up. If electric cars are bad for the environment, then surely buses, vans, lorries and every other vehicle is just as polluting, even if fully electric? Even bikes pollute. One suspects that these weirdos would be happy to take us back to the 17th century. |
