So defensive. Another sign of a feeble argument. I’m not a cyclophobe, by the way. But I don’t like London’s transport policy being formulated by a narrow interest group, which it is at the moment. You have to admit that’s true. The cycling numbers are still tiny. Most commuters want to use reliable, clean and cheap public transport. Making it harder for buses to navigate roads doesn’t improve that, does it? Poor Lycra men, foaming at the mouth about ‘cars, cars, cars’, when a lot of traffic generated is commercial vehicles. Or do you advocate those being removed from our roads as well? After all, most of those vans only have one person in them most of the time.... |
