| Families used to cycle through the underpass before the restriction and even as an adult the most intimidating thing was always if you were unlucky enough to come across a bus which is still liable to happen. Even if you aren't persuaded that it hasn't really become significantly safer you still need to consider the offsetting extra risk of having to pick your way through static traffic on South Parade and Acton Lane. |
