| Indeed, the stated aim of the bus gate is to "to protect eastbound bus performance on Chiswick High Road". The removed westbound bus gate before Chiswick Lane performed a similar purpose. While now only eastbound buses get the benefit, once the permanent CW9 is installed they'll be a chance to prioritise buses in both directions, as well as active transport. |
