| I promise I'm not being facetious, but weren't people saying not so long ago, that they had difficulty finding a Mobike. I either saw that on here or somebody told me, I honestly don't remember. However Mobikes will only work, if there's always one available within a short walk. This means that as a new concept in Chiswick they will need to flood the area with bikes or nobody will sign up. I've just had a look an I'm probably a 5 minute walk away in the opposite direction to the nearest bike. That probably just makes it worthwhile. I think as more and more people sign up, the better the situation will be for everybody. I think if the cycles were reduced in number and a 5 minute walk became a 10 minute walk, I'd just jump in the car. I think they're damned if they do and damned if they don't. I think people should just give them some slack and review the situation in 6 months. They, as a company should in my opinion have a complaints feature, that allows you to notify them of bad practice. They can then issue warnings/fines to the previous user and eventually ban them, if required. It would also act as a deterrent and hopefully a better experience for all. |
