I'm sure you're aware that ALL businesses have to have certified waste disposal facility either via a Local Authority or a Private Contractor. As far as encouraging people to use bikes, no problem with that, however just dumping them en mass on Pavements and causing the reduction of space to other users is not the way forward. In certain stretches of the pavement I've referred to it will only take baby buggy and a mobility scooter where Mobikes are parked, and this is on the busiest part of CHR on the north side, to cause a pedestrian jam. These bikes need to be properly managed and not just dumped anywhere that Mobikes see fit. |
