| The signs at the entrances to Acton Green Common are silent about cycling, but do say in the small print that the area is covered by the Ealing Parks bye laws. So although Acton Green isn't listed in their 2000 document, this suggests that cycling is not permitted except where 'conspicuously' signed or if it's an existing right of way for cyclists (?). The present sign board does require dogs to be 'under control' with an icon image of a dog on a lead, though this might not be intended to be taken literally. However, I gather the incident before the Court took place in 2016, so the case might pivot on what any signage said at the time rather than now. |
