| Quite correct - there's actually no excuse for this ignorance, there are plenty of facts out there and if you choose to let the media continue to peddle ignorance to you, don't complain if your views aren't taken seriously. Why should we, when you can't be bothered to do some research and learn basic maths? What's oddest about the Conservative attempts to pander to this numpty-belief nonsense on welfare, immigration and so on is that there's no particular reason to believe the numpties will actually notice, since they clearly don't pay any attention to reality. You might as well say you've done something about it and put your feet up rather than, say, bugger up business, higher education and tourism with stupid immigration red tape. The one on teenage pregnancy is an eye-opener as well. |
