| don't believe the mainstream media...it is simply propaganda..just because it's printed in your preferred read, doesn't mean it's true..mainstream media is used to manipulate public opinion. as regards torture: if we're discussing hypotheticals, then what if that person you tortured turned out to be innocent? there's a lot of ignorance when it comes to 'the world'...we in the west are complicit in such things as slavery, poverty, terrorism in our apathetic silence..is it any wonder there is growing resentment towards our sheer arrogance?...but we choose to ignore such things because it destablizes the moral high ground on which we love to stand by supporting the torture of a human being we are no better than the those we are claiming to be fighting... an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. |
