1. George W Bush would have had a wide spectrum of legal advice from which he chose the one most suitable to his purpose. 2. Any terrorist must have accepted the possibility of being waterboarded when he started his career. 3. How would you answer at the subsequent Inquiry when asked if you had used all available means to avert the death by bubonic plague of 5,000 people when you questioned the man who you had reliable information was planning that attack and who has subsequently claimed responsibility for causing those deaths. Or would you just refer the question upwards? |
