| I'm not sure whether it is the case that people don't understand the concept of a hypothetical question or if they are just trying to weasel out of giving an honest answer. In this instance you KNOW the evidence is reliable and you KNOW the suspect has information that could help you prevent an attack. The question is would you 'waterboard'. There are only two answers yes or no. C Wynne and Vanessa Smith have said 'no' and although that would mean they would sacrifice the lives of 100s or 1000s of people for a principle at least they aren't being mealy mouthed about it. |
