"On October 4, 1992 an EL AL 747 freighter crashed in Amsterdam, killing all four people on board and over 50 people on the ground. The cause of the crash was the number 3 and 4 engines separated from the wing, causing a loss of control. The number of fatalities would have been much greater had the El Al Boeing 747 been a passenger plane carrying 400 plus passengers and a larger crew. The number of fatalities on the ground would have been much greater is the aircraft was taking off laden with fuel and if the crash had traken place outside working hours when more people would have been at home." David what point are you trying to make here. That when planes crash with more people on board, there are more fatalities? Isn't that stating the obvious...you come across as someone who is against aeroplanes generally, because there is a risk that they might crash! |
