| Barbara, I actually agree that the welfare system should be reserved for those that really need it. If more people planned properly for a rainy day like several of us have suggested then the welfare system probably wouldn’t be as taxed for resources as it currently is. It’s easy for people to assume welfare will be their when they need it and blame the system for failing them when they could just have easily prevented it with a little bit of planning and self help. |
