| Hi Johnathan, yes l did ask the guy inthe park what brought him to be there, he had been working for Hammersmith council and was made redundent, thinking he would be able to get another job he and his partner went to Africa for 4 months, on his return he found both his parents were very ill and he went to Sussex to look after them, the partner should have been paying the rent but he could not return to London as his parents were about to die, In due course this happened, he lost his father in Jan and his Mother in April, on his return to London his partner had done a runner and there was £2000 owing in rent, he did not have this amount and although he tried to find another job (he's 49)he was unable to, the land lord then threw him out because he said he wanted to sell the flat. The man did not have enough money for a deposit and the first months rent, so he became homeless. A single white man will not be rehoused. Familys come first regarless of where they come from. This l do understand, you can not have children sleeping in the park. Should you ever find your self in this situation you will not get much help that l can promise you. re Spain, I brought my land from a local farmer who had to sell the land as his sons had recieved an education and did not want to farm the land and he was to old to do it himself. I then built a house on said land useing local builders, l employ a lady to look after the house who is local and my guests do all their shopping in the local village, while there they go to the local cafes. Yes l have made a profit on my house in the years that lv had it but the farmers who are selling their land around me are not stupid and the price for land is now very high, good luck to them l say but please do not call me a Hypocritical. I have worked very hard for what l have and have always paid my tax both in the UK and in Spain. Kind Regards to you. |
