| Critical illness and death cover for 2 adults is well under £100/month for BOTH. I don’t think this is an extravagant expense considering what it covers. Isn’t superannuation compulsory in this country? In theory this is meant to provide a minimum standard of living on retirement. I agree, the system is very open to abuse and needs to be overhauled. However I believe one of the major problems is the cost of policing the system versus the cost of allowing “leeches” to feed off it. If the former is greater than the latter then it’s not an effective solution. |
