| l live by acton park and for 4 weeks a guy called Paul was found sleeping there under one of the large oak trees, he had fallen on hard times and was waiting for a place in a hostel. My beef is because he was not easten euopian, a drunk, a child molester or on drugs and tried to keep himself clean it took 4 weeks before a bed could be found for him. If he finds a job then he will have to pay £112 per week for his room not allowing him the time to get him self straight money wise and prehaps save a deposit for a small flat. I belive we should look after the English first and formost, Paul paid his tax's for years and it was the first time he's asked any thing from our system, I feel that before another couple of years is out l will be the only english speaking person in Chiswick. I might add that with out the help l gave to Paul he would have ended up in Hospital, l don't want thanks just a fair system |
