Sam, firstly, the CPZ issue is not a matter for me to comment on, but "over 600 employees at the stadium", where do you get that from? I can understand this being a figure for construction workers, but surely not for the football club. Currently there are a few office workers and groundsmen at Braemar road during the week, with the main staff at Jersey Rd. Often being in the area during the day, I don't see many parking problems caused by existing BFC employees. I do stand to be corrected on this though. There is a matchday CPZ and local parking control. There is provision for paid parking at local schools and the nearby health centre. Takings from these benefit those organisations I'm sure, not BFC. In my opinion, anyone buying a property in the new development would know there was no parking facility so on their own head be it. |
