One of the reasons is simple to understand. Goods delivery drivers can legally drive a maximum of 10 hours in a 24 hour period. If they drive at peak times it takes longer to "do the round". And they also add to the congestion. So if you are servicing multiple outlets, there is a benefit to driving when the traffic is more free flowing. |
