Seems like you have missed the point completely. Nobody is arguing that car use needs to be reduced but it will tend to rise as population rises. The choice is not between more or less traffic but where that traffic goes. There are probably legal reasons why this idea is a non-starter but if not the choice between traffic through where people live or traffic through where people work is an obvious one surely. If you can't be bothered to reflect on that perhaps don't express yourself so stridently? |
