I see your point, but a look at a map shows the eastern service road in Chiswick Business Park ends on the west side of the four-track Underground train lines, and even if it was possible to tunnel a road underneath that, it would come out on Bollo Lane in between the two existing level crossings, and involve demolishing the buildings fronting onto that section of Bollo Lane. To route it to come out on Bollo Lane north of the level crossing would involve the road going over or under both the Underground and the main line link from South Acton to Kew Bridge. Either route would be very expensive to construct. |
