| It's definitely a murky tale. Land is under pressure everywhere and we will lose a lot more if we aren't careful with it being used for the associated facilities that aren't being provided to go with the denser housing that is springing up and much of which is not affordable. There is talk of a lido being proposed on Perivale Golf Course. It is however uplifting to see that it would be possible to create a more accessible rail bridge by the Strand on the Green school and extremely disappointing that Network Rail are trying to avoid doing so by ignoring disability legislation and trying to push through yet another one of their new-but-inaccessible-to-the-many-footbridges without more consultation. |
