| Hammersmith & Fulham (LBH&F) gave a contract to Idverde in 2022 to manage its land. I have also heard a rumour that they have quietly gone back to a more sensible integrated weed management approach. This involves avoiding using herbicide where there is an alternative, but using it where there isn't. On hard surfaces such as paths and roads etc. Be interested to know if anyone has any more info on that. LBH&F was early in making big statements about banning Glyphosate, so would be interesting to know. Not sure if Guy's comment was aimed at me, as he said "Katherine". There was no answer on the innacurate press release about Glyphosate having been banned by the EU though, so who knows. Has anyone else noticed the trees growing out of the Hogarth flyover. Wonder what a structural engineer would say on the advisability of that? |
