| Guy, HSE says Glyphosate is safe and efficacious. I am glad you are no longer contesting that. It also, as you quote suggests / endorses its use to prevent trip hazards. Parks for London has created a guide to integrated weed management. It seems a sensible approach and I would urge you to read and consider adopting it. It seems Hammersmith may already have, which is why its streets look better. Hounslow followed Hammersmith into a ban of Glyphosate, perhaps it could now follow it in taking a more pragmatic, holistic approach, looking at all risks and benefits. Thank you for confirming that Hounslow Highways accepted a change to how it was allowed to deliver the contract without imposing any cost increase or requiring a reduction in the service level. |
