I made representation against parking contravention (02) as I believed that the signage was not correct and that there was in fact no legal restriction in force at the time I parked. (13/01/2012)
I was informed yesterday that my representation had been accepted, LBH Parking Services letter saying:

'We have cancelled your Penalty Charge Notice after carefully considering what you say..... We have visited the place where you parked and agree that the signs or road markings were not correct. I am sorry for our mistake and for the inconvenience this has caused you.'

I am sure that there are many other folk who were caught by this 'mistake' and would urge anyone still within the time limit to make representation.
