| The parking restrictions seems sensible enough given the circumstances but the extension of bus lane operations is clearly just a revenue generating exercise which will probably increase congestion. The bigger issue is that this confirms that we are being lied to and that the Hammersmith Flyover is set for a long term closure. The articles on this site state that the news is to be announced in a week but Hounslow Council have already been told and are acting accordingly. They are not going to go to the time, effort and expense of making all these changes if there was any chance of us being told the flyover was to reopen soon. |
