| Raymond I agree with you. The redirecting of the 27 is long overdue and I believe had been posted on the website due next month, but no signs of action I have seen. It also rather undermines the argumenbt for bus lanes when they are used for lengthy driver change overs or random bus stands (as the on High rd opposite Belmont rd). Re the A4, not sure I agree. the problem this am is not the Sutton court rd/ A4 lights, but rather the fact that the High rd and all the roads around Turnham green (including heading up acton lane, where incredibly there are new roadworks on bollo lane) werte solid this am. AS a result traffic is trailing back all the way to the A4. Problem is simply too much traffic on the High Rd,which is already pretty much at capacity on a good day. Today's and last Thursdays jams were far, far worse than the normal rush hour. |
