| Andrew, I asked how much do you think you consider someone to be wealthy? 100K salary is a good income approx tax paid is 34K on a 30K salary tax paid approx 4,800 a massive difference. Obviously tax & NI is approx as I don’t know someone’s tax code. Neither in my opinion could be considered wealthy. So higher earners are paying a disproportionate amount from their salary compared to lower earners. Jobs are not equal so it’s up to an individual as to how motivated, driven and successful they want to be. We are not all equal. I for one do NOT begrudge anyone who aims for higher pay they pay huge taxes already. Forget all the other taxes they pay! |
